Cardiology is the study and treatment of problems relating to the heart. Here at Vets&Pets Veterinary Clinic we cooperate with vets who have special interest in and further qualifications in cardiology. The most common problems we are asked to examine pets for are heart murmurs – additional heart sounds that are produced as a result of turbulent flow of blood within the heart and large vessels which can be an indication of disease.
